Every child should be funded equally, then if they are fortunate enough to have parents who can either afford the extra to send them to a private school, or go without something else to fund a private school education, then good fortune to them !!

Private schools get the same funding per child as public schools, the differance is parents make up the differance. If governments took away funding from private schools then fees would be that much more expensive which would force it out of some parents reach, in turn forcing them to put their kids in public school which creates more strain on the public system. The current system is equitable and efficient IMO.

Sorry but if people can afford thousands per year, compared to families like us where $200 for books means we cannot pay the mortgage that week, then to me you are rich!

my kids went funding to public , & there is not eothe

Every child in Australia should be given the same amount from the government regardless of what school they go to its that simple everyone pays the same taxes and then the private parents will pay the fees. Just because we choose to send our children to private schools dose'nt mean we are rich .
